Welcome to Bishop's Bobcats Parent Teacher Organization! We are excited to start another great year.

This year we have some changes I am eager to share with you. First, the PTO will be coordinating the annual Walk-A-Thon to raise funds for school field trips throughout the year. Second, we will be opening a Parent Resource Room. This will be used to share information about Bishop PTO and volunteering with parents, as well as working with teachers to provide the support they need in the class rooms. Once we are set up and running, we will send home information on location and times.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me via email at diana@bishopbobcatspto.org.

Thank you,

Diana Brueggemann
Bishop Bobcats PTO President

Past Events

October 9th : Walk-a-Thon

Friday October 9 was a cool cloudy day - perfect weather for our kids to walk many laps around our track. We had music, teachers dancing, snacks, and games around the course. The school's NRO Officer Dave Falco joined moms in high-5'ing the kids and giving them stickers as they walked by.
The students and teachers walked together to raise money for field trips. Parents, friends, and families sponsored the children either per lap or for participating in our efforts to raise $30,000 for the school year. Check back soon for detailed results of the fundraiser!
We are proud of the Bishop Bobcat Spirit and teamwork in this event!

September 24th : Library Night at the Sunnyvale Library

Bishop families spent an evening of food and entertainment at the Sunnyvale Public Library to promote literacy.
Mr. Panosian, school principal, and Mr Brueggemann, father to kindergarten and third grade daughters served pizzas to the many visitors. The Children made book marks and masks at an arts and crafts table and also got to take home a scholastic book courtesy of PTO's Read-Across-America book fair from last school year.
Peggy Harris, an alumni parent, provided entertainment in the back courtyard by reading stories to the children. Teachers brought their families and mingled with the parents and children.
It was a wonderful evening at our city library. Thank you for joining us to celebrate children and reading!
